Marine Collagen does not contain any DHA. DHA is an Omega -3 fatty acid contained in the fish meat while the collagen is extracted from the skin of the fish.

Why was the sealed container only a little over half full?

We use a larger container in order to fit the included serving scoop. Also, very full containers are prone to bursting during shipping and handling and we always want to avoid that problem if possible, which is we choose to use a larger container to package the Marine Collagen.

I want to know more about the hydrolyzation process used to create your product. What acid, chemicals, or enzymes are used?

Our Marine Collagen Powder is manufactured from skins of wild, deep-sea cod fish that prefer to live in colder and deeper sea regions. As wild fish, there is no possibility of harmful chemicals or antibiotics being present.

It’s manufactured in a facility dedicated to marine products. Prior to any extraction, the skins receive a lengthy wash with copious amount of water. This step cleans the collagen and reduces the allergens to undetectable levels. It is only then that the collagen is ready to be hydrolyzed with a Food Grade Acid and then further hydrolyzed with a Food Grade Enzyme to break down the collagen’s molecular weights. No genetically modified materials (GMOs) are used in this product. After filtering, purification and concentration, the hydrolyzed fish collagen is sterilized and spray-dried to produce the high quality powder.

Our Marine Collagen is a pure, hypo-allergenic protein. It does NOT contain any Preservatives, Peroxides, Sulfites or Additives.
